Specific Experience

Ms. Hess has nearly 20 years experience as an attorney for clients in matters relating to business litigation, probate litigation, creditors' rights/bankruptcy, and trust administration.

Business Litigation

While litigation is an outcome we always strive to avoid, it is sometimes the only way to achieve our clients’ goals. Our attorneys handle matters involving business torts, breach of contract, fraud, unfair practices, real property litigation and alternative dispute resolution.

Bankruptcy & Creditors' Rights

Our attorneys specialize in creditors’ rights and work with banks, lenders, firms, other financial-service providers, as well as individuals, in protecting cash and property collateral in private, commercial and real estate lending to maximize our clients’ recovery as well as minimize their risk of loss.

Probate Litigation

While it is always our goal to assure trust and probate matters are handled seamlessly and to settle disputes quickly, there are some matters that can only be resolved through litigation. As such, we are always prepared to advocate for our clients to the fullest extent. We explore every avenue in order to ensure that trust and probate matters are litigated efficiently and successfully.

Trust Administration

After trusts have been established, proper administration is essential. Our firm handles all matters of trust and probate administration including advising and consulting for trustees and executors, assisting with the transition of ownership, handling gift transfers, and working with charitable organizations. We strive to ensure our clients’ wishes are honored and their instructions are carried out dutifully.
